This course covers fundamental information on Kubernetes (“K8s”) and how MATRIXX is configured to deploy in this environment. Comparisons are made between bare metal installations and K8s, and learners will continue to consider the necessary underlying software required. Critical concepts such as Control Planes, Nodes, ReplicaSets, Health and Groups are introduced. The essential details of how MATRIXX is configured using Helm are considered and some general examples of YAML files are given. Finally, CI/CD is investigated from a high level to gain an understanding of how the technology can be used with MATRIXX.
