Price to discuss turning AI disruptions into opportunities for wholesale and inter-carrier business
FOSTER CITY, Calif., May 1, 2024 — MATRIXX Software, a global leader in 5G and digital monetization solutions, today announced that Chief Technology Officer Marc Price will be speaking at International Telecoms Week (ITW) 2024. The session, titled “How has AI disruption turned into opportunity?” will focus on how artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to improve internal telecoms processes, network performance and inter-carrier automation. Price will be joined by Rashid Ali Al-Ali, Senior Vice President of International Data Business at e&, and Chandy Ghosh, COO & GM Voice Emergency Services at Sinch. Joshan Abraham, Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, will moderate the panel discussion.
“Telecoms are racing to embrace AI in their operations and explore the tangible benefits that can be realized in their domain. We are seeing that leading telcos are implementing AI as part of a broader digital transformation solution, not as a technology by itself,” said Price. “In my thirty years in telecoms, this is one of the biggest opportunities for telcos to make huge operational and commercial leaps. I’m looking forward to sharing our experiences during ITW and discussing them with Joshan, Rashid and Chandy.”
ITW is the world’s largest summit for digital infrastructure executives. More than 7,000 people from 125 countries, many from the largest operators in the world, are expected to attend this year’s conference in National Harbor, Maryland. The agenda offers a broad range of topic tracks for the telecoms industry, including Future Networks, Digital Divide, SatCom and Data Center.
The session is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, from 2:30 pm to 3:20 pm Eastern Daylight Time as part of the Future Networks track. Register for ITW here.
